At MP-Tec, we supply parts, accessories, and technical components to both business and consumer customers. This policy explains your rights and our returns process in line with UK consumer law.
1. Consumer Customers (UK)
If you are purchasing as a consumer (for personal use), you are protected by UK consumer legislation, including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
1.1 Right to Cancel (Change of Mind)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods for any reason.
To exercise this right:

You must notify us in writing within 14 days of delivery

Items must be returned unused, uninstalled, and in resaleable condition

Items should be returned in original packaging where reasonably possible
Once cancelled:

You will receive a full refund of the product price

Standard outbound delivery costs will be refunded

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

1.2 Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods
If your item is:

Faulty

Damaged in transit

Not as described

Incorrectly supplied
Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery where possible.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:

A repair or replacement, or

A refund where applicable
In these cases:

No restocking fee applies

Return shipping costs will be covered by MP-Tec
1.3 Items Excluded from Consumer Cancellation Rights
The right to cancel does not apply to:

Custom-made or made-to-order items

Items clearly personalised to your specification
-
Goods that have been installed, used, or altered

Electrical items that have been powered or connected
2. Business & Trade Customers (B2B)
If you are purchasing on behalf of a business, trade, or commercial operation, the following terms apply.
2.1 Returns & Restocking Fee
Approved business returns are accepted at our discretion and must meet the following conditions:

Items must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

Return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery

Proof of purchase is required
For non-fault returns, a 25% restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
The restocking fee covers:

Inspection
-
Testing
-
Handling
-
Repackaging and reconditioning
2.2 No Restocking Fee Applies If:

The item is faulty
-
The item was damaged in transit
-
An incorrect item was supplied by MP-Tec
3. Refund Processing
Once a return is received and inspected:

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days

Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

We reserve the right to issue a partial refund or refuse a refund for items returned used, damaged, or incomplete
4. Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping unless the item is faulty or incorrect

We recommend using a tracked and insured courier
-
MP-Tec is not responsible for items lost or damaged in return transit
5. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
Returned items must be refunded first, and a new order placed.
